Seminar "The Future of Research - Research of the Future"

A seminar held in Prague on 18 November 2002 is organized by the Technology Centre AS CR and Centre for Social and Economic Strategies in cooperation with the Council for Research and Development (CR). Invited speakers from high-level government structures of the UK and Finland will present their practical experience in analysing major policy issues and designing strategic solutions. The role of strategic studies in the development of Europe towards the most competitive knowledge-based world economy will be discussed by the invited speaker from the EC. Two Czech speakers will present the achievements and trends in strategic studies on the nation level. The seminar is targeted at Czech policy- and decision-makers.
