Participation of the Czech Republic in the ForeTech Project

The objectives of the ForeTech Project – Technology and Innovation Foresight for Bulgaria and Romania – are to implement Foresight activities to Bulgaria and Romania making use of the experience and know-how gained in projects and initiatives supported by the Commission and the STRATA programme, to develop the capacity and expertise in Foresight by transferring the experience and know-how of consortium partners from the UK, Hungary and the Czech Republic, to contribute to the knowledge pool on Foresight in Europe by conducting a comparative analysis of Foresight projects in 4 candidate countries participating in the project, and to elaborate a recommendation for the EC and government officials in respect of specific measures supporting science and technology strategies in candidate countries.

Technology Centre AS CR is a member of the project consortium.

The Project was launched on 1 October 2002 and will last 20 months.
